Abu Dhabi: Emirati officials have announced the launch date of the Mars mission according to which they will leave for Mars on July 15.

According to foreign media, the UAE announced the launch of a mission to Mars on July 15 last month. On this occasion, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center said that this mission is not only for the UAE but for the entire Arab region.

Emirati officials say a team of experts will conduct a final review before launching the mission to ascertain.

The Muhammad bin Rashid Space Center has dubbed the mission the Hope Mission, which is being worked on by Emirati youth.

The Mars mission was launched in 2014 by the UAE’s own builder and the Emirati team has also designed the spacecraft itself. The mission will reach its orbit by February when the UAE’s Golden Jubilee is being celebrated.

The mission will orbit the Red Planet and study the dynamics of the Martian atmosphere and its interaction with outer space and the solar wind. This research mission will orbit Mars for a full Martian year, 687 days, to collect the required data. It will take 55 hours to complete one orbit around Mars.

The UAE’s Mars mission will for the first time examine climate and climate change, including dust storms, temperature changes and the surface of Mars.

It should be noted that the coronavirus epidemic has engulfed the world, but the UAE is still preparing for the Mars mission.
