Which program did PTV stop much to PPP’s dismay?
Karachi, 21st May: PTV puts a ban on some programs and stops their broadcast, putting Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) into dismay.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, PTV has stopped broadcasting the Sindhi programs on its channel.
PPP Central Spokesperson Senator Maula Bakhsh Chandio said that the ban on Sindhi programs and their broadcast from Pakistan Television is reprehensible. Imran Khan is promoting Altaf Hussain’s linguistic and narrow-minded politics under one agenda and we won’t stand the attack on Sindh’s unity, culture, and language.
Maula Bakhsh Chandio further said that closure of Sindhi programs and broadcasts on Pakistan Television is incomprehensible and reprehensible. The attitude of the Prime Minister has been hostile to Sindh from the very first day. Instead of solidarity, they have pursued Altaf Hussain’s linguistic and narrow-minded politics under a specific agenda.
Maula Bakhsh Chandio further said that no attack on the unity, culture, and language of Sindh can be tolerated. Sindhi programs and broadcasts on PTV should be restored immediately.
