Baaghi TV: Firdous Shamim Naqvi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also comes under the radar of NAB. While the Sindh High Court granted interim bail of Rs. 1 million to the member of Sindh Assembly.
Firdous Shamim Naqvi’s bail application was heard in the Sindh High Court. Petitioner’s counsel contended that NAB has re-sent notice to Firdous Shamim Naqvi for recall.
NAB is investigating the issue of allotment of land to Habib Group of Companies. Habib Group of Companies was allotted land in 2006 on a 30-year lease. The court granted interim bail of Rs. 1 million to Firdous Shamim Naqvi. The court restrained the NAB from arresting Firdous Shamim Naqvi till November 27.
The petitioner’s counsel contended that the NAB had again sent a summons to Firdous Shamim Naqvi. Reportedly, Habib Group of Companies was allotted land on a 30-year lease in 2006 and at the time Firdous Shamim Naqvi was the director of the companies.
