CHITRAL (Press Release): The only basic health unit of Kailash Valley, a tourist destination of international importance, was given an ambulance well equipped ambulance with modern facilities by the World Health Organization.

BHU Bomburit was gifted an ambulance by a minority member of National Assembly two decades ago, but Its regular maintenance had become ineffective due to lack of care and attention and the ambulance is out of order. Now the hospital was provided a new ambulance by WHO. In this regard, a function was also held at the BHU Bumboratrit. On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali was chief guest while he was accompanied by District Police Officer Ikramullah, Additional Assistant Commissioner Adnan Haider Maloki, Sub Divisional Police Officer Hasanullah, SHO Bomburit, District Health Officer Dr. Fayaz Rumi, Dr. Salim Saifullah, Dr. Farman Nizar, Dr. Willi Kailash, and other guests were also present.

Mohammad Khalil Shaikh, the elected chairman of this valley, while welcoming the guests, highlighted the problems of this area. Deputy Chairman Lok Rehmat Kailash also mentioned about roads, wheat warehouse, internet and other issues. They also demanded for channelization of Bomburit canal. On which the Deputy Commissioner immediately announced the imposition of Section 144 and instructed the police not to allow anyone to do illegal getting of sand etc from canal. Later he formally inaugurated this new ambulance. Dr. Wali, who belongs to the Kailash tribe and is the first Kailash doctor from this valley, said that there are many heart diseases here and we want to establish a diagnostic center here and send its report to Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar where Senior Cardiologist will treat heart patients free of charge. Similarly, by providing wheelchairs to disabled children, we will restore smiles on their faces and we will collect some funds from ourselves for the welfare of Kailash and the Muslim community and treat the poor and deserving people with it. As well as continue to cooperate with them.

Bibi Shahra, a female social worker belonging to the Kailash tribe, says that this ambulance will benefit the people of this area in general and women in particular.
