Who gave permission for construction near Rawal Lake?
According to the report of Baaghi TV, a case was heard in the Islamabad High Court against illegal commercial constructions.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah directed CDA to seal the commercial building. The court sought affidavits from the CDA chairman and board members. The member CDA board replied to the court that a report has been submitted to the court. PM have given approval of construction near Rawal Lake.
Chief Justice Atharmanullah expressed anger over the CDA member’s response. The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court said, “Answer what I am asking you. Where is the land allotment letter?”

On which CDA officials said that there is no allotment letter. Chief Justice Athar Minallah inquired about the action taken by the CDA. The CDA member replied that we have issued notices,
Chief Justice Athar Minallah inquired whether the building of the sailing club was legal or illegal. To which the CDA member said that I am not a legal person to give any opinion.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks and sought a reply.
