WHO sounds alarm over Coronavirus in Pakistan

Tuesday, June 9th: According to a Baaghi TV report, the WHO sounded the alarm over the growing number of patients and deaths in Corona. This is said in the letter that the corona epidemic has reached all the districts of Pakistan, adding that the number of corona cases has increased after the easing of lockdown.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has written a letter to the Punjab government stating that the first case of corona in Pakistan came to light on February 26 this year. Pakistan should take all precautionary measures, Pakistan should take measures for quarantine, isolation, social distance and contact tracing.

The text of the letter said that it is very important for Pakistan to qualify for 50,000 tests a day. Before ending the lockdown, the governments must fulfill 6 conditions. That Pakistan does not meet any of the criteria to end the lockdown at the moment, Pakistan is among the top 10 countries affected by Corona, the World Health Organization recommends that Pakistan adopt a policy of 2 weeks lockdown, 2 weeks relaxation.

According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, 4,646 new patients emerged in the last 24 hours, 40,819 in Punjab, 39,555 in Sindh, 14,006 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 6 in Balochistan. There are 788 patients, 952 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 5,785 in Islamabad and 412 in Azad Kashmir

So far 730,453 people have been tested in Pakistan, 24,620 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours, so far 35,018 patients have recovered.

In Pakistan, 105 people lost their lives in a single day from Corona, bringing the death toll from the virus to 2,172. 679 patients have died in Sindh, 773 in Punjab, 587 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 52 in Islamabad, 14 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 58 in Balochistan and 9 in Azad Kashmir.
