Who will be the Prime Minister of Kashmir?

Now as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won the Kashmir elections, the most important question now is who will be the PTI’s prime minister in Kashmir.

As seen in Punjab in 2018, contrary to all expectations, Usman Bazdar was made the Chief Minister of Punjab. It is too early to say who will be the Prime Minister of Kashmir.

If we look at the situation so far, the strongest candidate is Barrister Sultan Mehmood and he has also held the post of Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir during the PPP era. But the PTI’s choice of a new person will not come as a surprise.

Barrister Sultan was one of the first major leaders to join the PTI in Kashmir. It remains to be seen whether he will be nominated by the party as Prime Minister.
