Why was PIA banned?
Thursday, July 2nd: According to a report by Baaghi TV, the European Union’s Aviation Safety Agency banned PIA for six months from July 1. A few days ago, Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan had said in Parliament that about 250 PIA pilots have fake licenses.

If you read the letter published by the European Agency, it will be clear that in 2014 they passed a regulation, the implementation of which was mandatory for all airlines. Then in May 2016, PIA was given a conditional license to implement six measures within three years.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the PML-N government was in power for two years. The PIA did not implement these six points and did not show any progress. When the PTI government came, they inherited 94 billion as well as PIA with an annual deficit of Rs 450 billion, with only nine aircraft operating.

Opposition parties today sympathize with the PIA, which is the same airline that was running an annual deficit of 4.5 billion during its tenure, of which only nine of the 33 planes were operating. His pride did not wake up at that time but he woke up immediately with the news of the ban today.
