According to Baaghi TV reports, the second wave of Corona continues in Pakistan. An important decision will be made today in educational institutions, whether to continue the teaching process or to commence holidays.
A special meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood. In which the situation of Corona will be considered. The education ministers of the four provinces will attend the meeting.
After the meeting, the media will also be briefed. In the context of Corona, a decision will be made regarding school closures and winter holidays.
Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas said that he is not in favor of closing schools. However, the decision will be made today. The educational institutions where corona cases are being reported are being sealed off and if, schools have to be closed as in the past, they will be done.
In Punjab, 472 institutions have been sealed in two months. Corona tests have been conducted in 265,370 public and private schools.
The number of sealed educational institutions in Islamabad has reached 120.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant for Health, said that the second wave of corona virus has gradually started in Pakistan. To deal with the second wave, SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to. By taking precautions we can deal with the second wave of corona.
