YDAP announces long march towards Islamabad on October 14 against PMC
ISLAMABAD, October 10 (ONLINE): Young Doctors Association Pakistan (YDAP) has announced to stage long march towards Islamabad on October 14 against establishment of Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
Doctors and students from all the medical colleges from across Pakistan will conduct long march towards Islamabad on October 14.
Students committees have been set up at medical colleges level for launching long march. This decision was taken after consultation with chiefs of YDA from all the provinces through video link conference. Presidents and cabinet members from Punjab, KP, Sindh,Balochistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan participated in the conference.
All the units of YDAP while rejecting PMC said unanimously that PMC is an illegal and unconstitutional body. Its constitution runs contrary to international laws. The bodies which issue licenses comprise elected stake holders all over the world. The future of million of the students has been made bleak by implementing the new laws in a disjointed manner.
They vowed to launch an organized movement against this law from all the provinces, YDAP declared.
