Further evidence that Zahir Jaffer, the murderer of Noor Muqaddam, has a track record of vile and violent behaviour towards women.
Zara Haider, a writer and social activist, took on to her Twitter some messages she received from Zahir Jaffer when he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
“tw: misogyny, threat of violence. some msgs i received from Zahir Jaffer around the time he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. i would never discredit mental illness, but this is pure violence and the signs were ignored,” the tweet said.

Zara Haider further said that she even met Zahir Jaffer at a social gathering after these text messages, in 2016. “i even met him at a social gathering after these, in 2016. he seemed “fine” and “normal” and we all brushed it aside. we didn’t know how to respond either, and because of that we normalize men’s violence too much,” she tweeted.

also for male sympathizers: mental illness does not excuse violence or abuse. being schizophrenic and violent is a stereotype and stigma. most people with schizophrenia are not violent. he was already misogynistic and violent and his illness may have exacerbated it but that’s it.

Ex-diplomat’s daughter killed in Islamabad
It is to be remembered that Noor Mukaddam, daughter of ex-Pakistan’s ambassador to South Korea Shaukat Mukaddam, was brutally murdered in sector F-7/4 Islamabad. The accused has been identified as a businessman named Zahir Jaffer, who reportedly had shot the girl before beheading her.
Sources reveals that Noor’s headless naked body was found and the head was placed away from the assaulted body at Jaffer’s place in Islamabad where the incident took place. It has been alleged that earlier he was deported from the United Kingdom (UK) on rape charges too.

Some other reliable sources reveal that the murderer’s family is trying to bribe police and a judge to allow him to flee as police investigation reveals that Jaffer is a United States (US) citizen and was booked to leave Islamabad for America on a flight yesterday. However, police is treating this as proof of premeditated murder and attempted flight from justice.
It is to be noted that Zahir Jaffer has been booked on charges of premeditated murder for allegedly brutally murdering the daughter of a former Pakistani diplomat in Islamabad, it occurred on Wednesday.
