Zalmay Khalilzad: Significant progress has been made in Peace Talks.

The US special Representative for Afghanistan and Chief Negotiator Zalmay Khalilzad has stated that Significant progress has been made in peace talks.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, these statements came during Khalilzad recent visit to Pakistan, in which he held talks with PM Imran Khan, COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed additional steps which Pakistan should take to expedite the peace process.

A statement issued by US embassy in Pakistan stated, “Ambassador Khalilzad met Prime Minister Imran Khan, MFA [ministry of foreign affairs] Additional Secretary Aftab Khokher and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa,”.
