Quetta, Oct 14: Quetta’s anti-terrorism court acquitted 13 people in the Ziarat residency attack case.

The suspects have acquitted because of the lack of evidences and inadequate proofs against them.

On June 15, 2013, the historical Quaid-e-Azam Residency was attacked by Balochistan Liberation Army and they completely burnt it down, after that law enforcement agencies arrested 13 suspects from BLA.

The residency was later rebuilt and refurbished and brought back to its previous glory by the government of Pakistan and was then inaugurated on 14 August 2015.

Out of 13 arrested suspects, eleven were set free on bail while two were in jail. The verdict was reserved on 4 October 2019.
