Security forces killed 15 Indian-Sponsored terrorists during a high-stakes, joint clearance operation in the Kuch Mangi Phase-III area of Ziarat district, Balochistan.

The extensive tactical response followed an intense overnight assault by armed militants on a local police post near a vital dam construction project, leaving nine police personnel martyred.

According to official briefings from provincial authorities, dozens of heavily armed insurgents attacked the remote security installation under the cover of darkness, prompting a hours-long gun battle.

During the chaos, the assailants abducted eight police officers. In a rapid counter-offensive, a joint force consisting of the Frontier Corps (FC), Balochistan Police, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and specialized Anti-Terrorism personnel immediately cordoned off the escape routes.

Through the targeted sanitization sweep, security operators tracked the hostile units, successfully recovering all eight abducted police personnel unharmed. The ensuing heavy exchange of fire resulted in the elimination of 15 active insurgents.

Large caches of weapons, mixed-caliber ammunition, and communications equipment were recovered from the neutralized cells.

This decisive counter-offensive follows a high-level apex meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where the Balochistan government approved immediate, aggressive sanitization protocols across volatile corridors like Hanna Urak.
