NCOC Meeting, record of 1.7 million vaccinated in a day

According to Baghi TV, a National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) meeting was chaired by Federal Minister Asad Omar earlier today. According to the NCOC, the meeting reviewed the ongoing corona vaccination campaign in the country.

The Health Committee approved Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines for people between the ages of 12 and 18. From November 15, people between the ages of 12 and 18 will be able to receive the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, respectively. Additionally, the NCOC praised the mass vaccination and door-to-door inoculation campaign. The NCOC also commended the pace of capacity building of vaccination teams across the country.

According to the NCOC briefing, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has become the second province to vaccinate half of its population with at least one dose. According to the NCOC, 48,882 corona tests were performed across the country in the last 24 hours and a further 637 corona cases were reported. According to the NCOC, in the last 24 hours, the total number of corona cases in the country has risen to 1.278 million, while the total number of deaths has risen to 28,575 and the positive case rate has been reported to be 1.30%.
