Islamabad, 29th Feb: According to the reports of BaaghiTV, the price of the petrol has been reduced by Rs. 5 per liter, applicable from the 1st of March.
The Government of Pakistan has announced a decrease in the price of petrol from tomorrow, 1st of March, for the relief of the people.
According to the sources, the Federal Government has reduced the price of petroleum products by Rs. 7 per liter for the month of March.
According to the Ministry of Finance, petrol price has been approved at Rs. 5 per liter after which the new price is Rs. 111 and 60 paisa per liter.
The price of diesel has been reduced by Rs. 5 per liter, after which the new price is Rs.122 and 26 paisa per liter, and the price of the kerosene oil is reduced by Rs. 5 per liter, after which the price is Rs. 92 and 45 paisa per liter. The price of the light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs.7, so the new price has been fixed at Rs 77 and 51 paisa per liter.
It may be noted that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), had sent a summary to the Petroleum Division, and suggested to reduce the price of petroleum products by Rs. 6 per liter of petrol and Rs 7.50 per liter of diesel.
