Aamir Liaquat Husain marries 18-year-old girl

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member and Ramadan show host Aamir Liaquat Husain has tied the knot with an 18-year-old girl for the third time.

Aamir Liaquat announced the news of his third marriage in a tweet on the social networking website, Twitter, saying that he has gotten married to 18-year-old Syeda Dania Shah last night. According to Liaquat, his new wife belongs to the ‘Sadat’ family of the esteemed ‘Najib ut Tarfain’ of Lodhran in South Punjab.

Aamir Liaquat further said that his Seraiki wife is charming, simple, and lovely. “I ask all my well-wishers to pray for us,” he said. I have just gone through a dark period in my life which was a turning point.

Liaqat also shared a beautiful photo with his third, newlywed wife on social media. It is to be noted that just yesterday, Syeda Tooba Anwar, the second wife of Aamir Liaquat, had confirmed that she took khula from Aamir Liaquat and just one day after the news of the khula, Liaquat announced his third marriage.

According to reports, Syeda Tooba Anwar had said that her close relatives and friends are well aware of the fact that she had divorced her husband, following a period of separation 14 months prior. After which, when no form of reconciliation was found, she was forced to separate (khula). Anwar added that this is a difficult time, but she is sure that Allah would have made this a better decision.

It should be noted that PTI leader Aamir Liaquat had married Syeda Tooba in 2018. This was his second marriage. His first wife Syeda Bushra Iqbal said in her Instagram post in December 2020 that she was divorced by her ex-husband. At the time, she had claimed that Dr. Aamir Liaquat had given him a divorce via phone call at the request of Syeda Tooba Anwar.
