Lahore, 11th April: It has been reported that the Pakistan TV channel Aap News has been directed to close down.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, from today, April 11, Aap News has been ordered to close down, Chairman Malik Riaz announced.

All the workers are informed that based on some unavoidable legal and technical reasons, Aap News (Urdu Channel) ) could not be run.

According to sources, the administration has decided that dues of all the news workers will be paid, under which all salaries of March will be paid till April 14 to 15.

An important message was also conveyed to the workers that the salary till the notice period from April to May 11 will also be paid on April 21 and 22.

In addition, Chairman Malik Riaz has decided to pay half of the salaries for the next three months up to the 5th of every month keeping in view the situation due to COVID-19 and lockdown.

In the meantime, the Chairman will start a new channel on his proprietary license, In which the employees from the Aap news will be given the preference.

Sources say that the Chairman has expressed best wishes to all the workers.
