Afghan Air Force M1-7 crashes

Kabul, 11th November: Two soldiers were killed and two others were injured when a helicopter of the Afghan Air Force crashed while taking off, according to reports.

According to the International News Agency, in the Afghan province of Nangarhar, an Afghan military combat helicopter MI-7 hesitated shortly after takeoff from Hesarak district.

A US military spokesman said in a statement that the helicopter had suffered a “technical glitch” during the flight. Two soldiers were killed and two others were seriously injured in the crash. 
Reportedly, the injured were shifted to a hospital.
A spokesman for the Afghan Air Force added that there was no possibility of a terrorist element in the crash, which was caused by a technical glitch, while an inquiry committee has been set up to determine the technical glitch.
