Kim Hyun Joong’s Japanese EP Tops Oricon Rock Charts

Renowned South Korean singer Kim Hyun Joong’s EP “This is Love” has topped the Oricon rock singles chart for the week.

Kim Hyun Joong’s EP ‘This is Love’ which was released on the 11th of September has topped the Oricon rock singles chart for the week between September 16th to September 23rd. Moreover, the Japanese EP called “This is Love”  is also number 7 on the Oricon Combined Singles Charts.

It has been reported, that while performing in ‘The Live House’, the stadium was filled with Kim’s fans. Mr. Morishige also expressed jealousy after seeing so many female fans of Kim Hyun Joong. ‘The live house’ was reportedly a fun event.

Kim Hyun Joong is an actor, singer, songwriter and model. One of the most well known in the Korean industry. As an actor he started out with minor television roles. He has also starred in Korean reality TV series “We Got Married”. As a singer he made his debut with K-Pop group SS501 who have to their credit songs like “Deja Vu” and “Love Ya”. He is most renowned for his popular series Playful Kiss and Boys Over Flowers which are both adapted for TV from popular and well loved mangas.

After having faced a vicious scandal followed by a prolonged series of legal battle(s), in his personal life, and being discharged from mandatory military service, Kim who was at the peak of his career in 2014, has made a comeback with new music. His fans or Henecias as they prefer to be called have from all over the world shared their love and support for the Korean idol hoping he can get back to the top again.
