Afghan human trafficking network stands exposed in Europe.
European countries have intensified their actions against Afghan human trafficking networks.
According to a report by Afghanistan International, the main culprit of the Afghan human trafficking network, Zeeshan Bangash, was deported from the UK.
Afghan traffickers involved in human smuggling were deported to Belgium following a joint operation by the British agencies and Belgian police.
According to the British National Crime Agency’s report, the Afghan smuggling network was involved in transporting migrants from Iran, Turkiye and the Balkans to France and Belgium.
Afghan traffickers were also found to be involved in severe crimes, including sexual exploitation, blackmailing, extortion and other serious offenses.
