After Israel-UAE friendship agreement, Palestinian ambassador summoned
West Jordan: The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has reportedly recalled the Palestinian ambassador to Abu Dhabi in protest of the announcement of a so-called peace deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said that the Palestinian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates has been recalled.
The statement said that the immediate return of the Palestinian ambassador to the UAE has been ordered by President Mahmoud Abbas. The development comes shortly after the announcement of the so-called US-brokered peace deal between the UAE and Israel.
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump announced a bilateral friendship agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, calling it a historic step.
