Lahore, 30th March: After an alarming increase in the coronavirus cases in the port city, the Sindh government has announced micro-smart lockdowns in Karachi.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Karachi’s administration has issued a notification to implement micro-smart lock-down in the city to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
As per reports, the authorities have imposed smart lockdown in the residential areas in Central District Divisions which include North Karachi, North Nazimabad, and Gulberg.
The lock-down will be effective from March 29 to April 12.
The notification states that micro-smart lockdown has been imposed in areas where the ratio of coronavirus cases is very high.
The notification further stated that all business and industrial activities in the hot spot areas will be suspended.
The authorities have issued orders for the residents to wear masks and unnecessary movement of people will be banned.
