Alleged Drug Network Operator “Anmol Pinky” Arrested in Karachi

Karachi police have arrested a woman identified as Anmol alias “Pinky” during a crackdown on an alleged narcotics network operating in the city.

According to police officials, the suspect was taken into custody from Karachi’s Garden area. Authorities claim to have recovered drugs, chemicals and illegal weapons during the operation. Investigators allege that the network was involved in the supply of cocaine, crystal meth (“ice”) and other narcotics.

Police sources further stated that the group allegedly used female riders for the delivery of drugs across different parts of the city.

The case drew further attention after Anmol alias “Pinky” was presented before the court without handcuffs despite facing serious allegations linked to narcotics trafficking.

The incident prompted senior Karachi police officials to take notice, with reports stating that an inquiry has been ordered into why standard security procedures were allegedly not followed during the court appearance.

The court later sent the accused to jail on judicial remand while investigations continue.
