Angelina Jolie didn’t shower for 3 days, avoided soap and fragrances
Lahore, 24th May: Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie said she didn’t take bath for three days to take pictures with bees.
According to reports, Angelina Jolie’s recent images with bees have taken the world by storm. The pictures were captured with the star in order to raise awareness about the preservation of bees.
The 45-year-old star admitted that she had to hold her bath for three days and keep in mind the risk of being stung by the bees.
In an interview with National Geographic, the filmmaker and humanitarian opened up about her photoshoot which she did with the portal for World Bee Day on May 20.

She said, “With so much, we are worried about around the world and so many people feeling overwhelmed with bad news and the reality of what is collapsing, this is one that we can manage. We can certainly all step in and do our part.”
The Tomb Raider star shared how she prepared for the particular shoot and had to avoid soap, shower gel, and water.
She added that she had to her hair, makeup, and wipe herself with pheromones (substances used as chemicals between individuals of the same species).
She didn’t shower for three days because with scents like shampoo, perfume, and other fragrant things, the bees won’t identify you.
Jolie also explained how she had to put something in her nostrils and ears so that bees won’t get inside them.
After Angelina applied pheromone, bees flew over and landed on her skin. She remained calmed and composed as the bees crawled to her collar bone, cheeks, and chin.
However, at one point the bold and dusky beauty felt nervous when one of the bees crawled under her skirt and she tickled at the moment.
She said, “One was in my skirt the whole time I was shooting. It tickled me terribly. I kept feeling it on my knees, on my legs, and I thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be this. the worst place to be stung. It’s getting very close. It kept crawling around at my feet. After finishing the shot, I shooed away the other bees and lifted my skirt to let the bee fly away.”
It is pertinent to mention here that the US star Angelina Jolie has been chosen as the ‘Godmother for Women for Bees’. It is a program launched by UNESCO to train and support female beekeeping entrepreneurs around the world.
