Another Black Man Shot Dead by the US Police

According to a foreign news agency, the black man had tried to escape from the arrest, on which the police opened fire on the young man, and killed him.

The incident of the black man’s death took place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Violent protests have erupted in Atlanta since footage of the incident surfaced.

Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance, slammed the police over the incident, saying the police officer could have decided what to do and what not to do. Last month, riots broke out in several cities in the US state of Minnesota after a black man was killed in police custody.

A video of the dead man went viral on social media, in which a 46-year-old black man named George Floyd was strangled by a police officer, which led to the news of his death.

Minnie Mayor Jack Frey said being black should not be a death sentence, while four police officers were suspended. When he tried to resist, he died.

It is to be noted that Brooks fell asleep in the car while waiting for the restaurant’s car park on Friday evening. Later, when the police woke him up, they had an argument.

Brooks got out of the car, took a police electric shock pistol and aimed it at police, who shot and killed him.

Tensions in the city have risen since the incident, shortly after the death of George Floyd, an African-American, as a result of police violence in Minnesota.

Protests for George Floyd are still going on in several cities across the country.
