Australian High Commissioner bids farewell to Army Chief at GHQ
RAWALPINDI: Australian High Commissioner Dr. Jeffrey met with Army Chief at the General Head Quarters (GHQ).
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) Australian High Commissioner, Dr. Jeffrey called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ for a farewell meeting.
ISPR said that issues of mutual interest, regional security situation and bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Pakistan Army spokesman said that during the meeting, the Army Chief stressed the need for sincere efforts to curb the growing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
