#AyeshaAkram narrates heart wrenching incident at Minar-e-Pakistan

Lahore, 18th August: Ayesha Akram, a female who was brutally harassed at Greater Iqbal Park near Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day has come forward with a heart-wrenching statement.

According to details, a Tik Tok star named Ayesha Akram said in a recent video that she was tortured for 2.30 hours at the Greater Iqbal Park on August 14, when she went out with her team to celebrate like all others.

The victim of the recent harassment case mustered up the courage to face the camera and poured her heart out. The video shared on Instagram on Wednesday left us to think how low we have fallen as humans!

Ayesha Akram, while giving an interview to a host narrated how she was harassed by 300-400 men of all ages from 6:30 to 9:00 pm on Independence Day. She said the men literally rip off her clothes.

The victim said she had gone out to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence that day when some men saw her and jumped off the fence and surrounded her. In a while, she was mobbed by hundreds of men who started snatching her clothes and hair.

Ayesha Akram tried running away from a bridge, besides which there was a small lake but the men got hold of her and passed her like a ball in the air. They groped and touched her inappropriately all over her body.

The girl and her team members even tried calling at Rescue 15 number but nobody responded. Nobody came for her rescue at such a monumental place.

With tears in her eyes, she explained that she was not wearing any vulgar clothes, neither she makes any indecent video, yet the men harassed her like animals.

In the video, Ayesha tearfully asked if this was the price to be born in Pakistan where a woman/girl is not at all safe.

It is to be recalled that a horrific incident emerged Tuesday night when videos of a girl went viral, who was harassed by 300-400 men at Greater Iqbal Park near Minar-e-Pakistan.

According to reports, the victim filed an FIR against 400 unidentified assailants with the Lahore police. Police have registered a case against them and assured the public to take legal action at their earliest.
