Three people injured after hand grenade attack in Mardan, KP

Nov 2, 2021: At least 13 people were injured in an explosion near Chief Chowk in Kharan area of ​​Balochistan on Tuesday afternoon.

The injured have been shifted to the hospital. Police and Rangers have cordoned off the area and a search operation is in progress. According to police, the bomb was planted in a motorcycle.

About five to four kilograms of explosives were used in the attack.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qaddos Bizenjo condemned the attack, calling it “an attempt by anti-state organizations to disrupt peace in the province”.

“Such acts of terrorism won’t dampen our spirits,” he pointed out, instructing the authorities to ensure the provision of proper medical treatment for the injured people.

This is the third blast in a week in Balochistan. A car bomb exploded near Hub on Monday, killing one person and injuring two others.

Meanwhile, two people were killed and three others were injured in a blast in Pajgur on Sunday. The explosives were planted in the motorcycle.

Authorities said the target of the bombing was apparently an FC vehicle.
