The only person resisting resignation was Amrullah Saleh, the Vice President of Afghanistan.

According to details, Amrullah Saleh left Kabul on August 13, 2021 (Friday) and went to Tajikistan to take refuge. Sources reveal that a video message from the Afghan vice president is likely to be released soon.
