CAA issues alert for the Karachi Airport

Lahore, 17th April: Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has issued the rules and regulations for the international flights in the country.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the government of Pakistan has issued the SOPs of the international flights to be followed by the crew and staff of the airlines, regarding the situation of the pandemic in the country.

The SOPs are issued from the 14th of April till the 19th of April for the safety against COVID-19. The rules are also applicable to the chartered and private flight operations and their crew and staff members to contain the spread of the virus.

Flight’s arrival or departure to Pakistan will be subjected to CAA’s approval. Private Aircraft Company will have to submit certificate upon arrival to Pakistan. The ship must have the necessary supply of personal protection equipment. The passengers’ health declaration form will also be the responsibility of the airline.

SOPs for Int pax & Chrt Flt

Earlier, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority opened Indian air routes. Now Indian airlines can use Pakistani airspace as well. The routes will remain open from north to south.

Passengers and the flight staff are to strictly comply with the rules and SOPs set by the Civil Aviation Authority.
