Indian media has reported that a case has been filed in the Delhi High Court asking to ban the film based on the late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to reports, Judge Manoj Kumar Ohri has summoned filmmaker, Arya Babbar, to court in 24th May. The court has reportedly issued a notice at the request of the late actor’s father, Krishna Kishore Singh, to ban the film.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has taken the stand that the filmmaker is cashing in on the opportunity to make money by basing the film on the life of his late son. According to reports, Nyay is set to release in June while shooting for Suicide or Murder: A Star was Lost and Shashank have commenced.
The plaintiff says that the reputation of my family and son is being damaged in sports, films, web series, books and interviews. He has also claimed Rs. 2 crore damages from the filmmaker of the above film for damaging Sushant Singh’s reputation, mental stress and harassment.

According to reports, the case alleges that publishing or broadcasting material of this nature would be tantamount to harming the rights of the deceased, victims and their families.
Arya Babbar had announced the decision to make this film in August of last year, the shooting for which has been completed.
