Chennai Airport Declares Full Emergency as IndiGo Flight Lands Safely After Engine Issue

India: Chennai Airport declared a full emergency for IndiGo flight 6E-723 operating from Kolkata after the aircraft developed a left engine inoperative condition. The plane, carrying 224 people on board, touched down safely on Runway 25 at 11:37 PM.

Emergency arrangements were activated ahead of the landing and were withdrawn at 11:47 PM once the situation was assessed. Airport authorities confirmed that overall operations at the airport remained normal throughout the incident.
