CNN fires three employees for coming to work unvaccinated
Lahore, 6th August: Three employees at CNN, the renowned international news channel, were fired who violated the office’s policy and came unvaccinated.
According to the media reports, three employees working at CNN were fired on Friday after they violated the office’s coronavirus policy and came to the office without getting vaccinated.

According to details, in an internal memo emailed to staff on Thursday and obtained by several US media outlets, CNN President clearly said that in the past week, the company had become aware of three employees who came to work unvaccinated. All three have been “terminated”.
A statement from CNN chief Jeff Zucker said that they had a “zero tolerance” policy for violating the coronavirus SOPs. All office workers, including field reporters, must be vaccinated.

However, his memo did not specify the names of the employees who were fired, or their positions and office locations.
Meanwhile, CNN did not comment on the matter immediately.

It is to be noted that many organizations in the United States have opened up during the pandemic on the condition of mandatory vaccination of its employees, however, due to the spread of the Delta virus, SOPs are being strictly enforced in all the offices.
