Demarcation is a new form of state terrorism: Kashmiri leader

Srinagar, Indian Occupied Kashmir: Hurriyat leaders in Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have reportedly said that a demarcation exercise is a new form of Indian state terrorism that is a clear violation of international law.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Islamic Political Party Chairman Muhammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the practice of delimitation, changes in curriculum, new domicile laws, naming government buildings after Hindus, and other such measures is a new form of India’s state terrorism. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash declared that India is committing legal and cultural terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

He said that all these measures were aimed at transforming the Muslim majority identity of Jammu and Kashmir into a minority and making it a Hindu majority area.

He expressed concern over the Indian move, saying that it reflected India’s nefarious intentions regarding the future of occupied Kashmir. Yousuf Naqash said that despite Indian state terrorism, Kashmiris are determined to achieve complete independence from India. He appealed to the world powers, realizing the gravity of the situation in the occupied territories, to take concrete steps to stop Indian terrorism and save South Asia from catastrophe.
