Elderly Man Allegedly Cheated With Fake Currency After Selling Goat

An unfortunate incident has surfaced in which an elderly man wearing a white beard and turban was allegedly deceived with counterfeit currency after selling his goat at a cattle market.

According to reports, the elderly citizen had arrived at the market in Lahore to sell his goat due to financial hardship. It remains unclear whether he needed the money to buy wheat, cover household expenses, or pay for medical treatment of a family member.

Sources claim that a trader purchased the goat for Rs27,000, but it was later discovered that the entire amount handed over to the elderly man consisted of fake currency notes.

The incident has sparked anger and sympathy among citizens, with many demanding strict action against those exploiting poor and vulnerable people through fraud and deception.
