London, 19th November: As soon as the England cricket team reached South Africa they got infected with the coronavirus pandemic.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, the England cricket team had just started training after arriving in South Africa when the virus broke out in the camp.
Reportedly, a South African player tested positive for the COVID-19 before the limited-overs series against England. The player and two others who came in contact with the medical staff of the South African team have been placed in quarantine in Cape Town.
The T20 series will start on November 27, followed by three ODIs. The host board has confirmed that one player tested positive and two players have been separated on close contact.
The England squad has reached South Africa and has started training. A 50-over warm-up match will also be played in Cape Town on Saturday.
