Extended flight operations’ request to the Kingdom

Lahore, 14th March: According to the reports, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has made an appeal to the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority to consider extending the time limit by an additional 72 hours on the suspension of the entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As per the reports, around 5000 Pakistani passengers are waiting in the Kingdom to fly back to Pakistan and a similar number is waiting in Pakistan to return back to their jobs in Saudi Arab. CAA wants to extend the time limit set by the Saudi Government to enter and leave the country within 72 hours. Both the brotherly states have longterm cordial relations in history which should be maintained in the future also.

Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authorities are hopeful that their request to continue the flight services between the two countries will carry on without any disruption and their request will get a favorable response till 25th March 2020.
