Fake Pilot’s License Case: FIA cracks down on CAA officials

Lahore, 29th January: Regarding the fake licenses of the pilots, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cracks down on the officials of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, after the complete investigation into fake licenses case of the pilots, 3 cases have been registered in the FIA.

Deputy Director Rauf Sheikh said that all the three cases were registered in the FIA ​​Corporate Crime Circle. 40 pilots and the names of 8 officers of the Civil Aviation Authority have been included in the case.

According to the latest reports, on 28th Jan 2021 around 7 pm, an ex-GM Licensing was called to the FIA Saddar branch Karachi and was arrested after the interrogation.

The FIA has named total 48 culprits, 8 from PCAA and 40 pilots from different Pakistani airlines in the case.

According to news pouring in, few of the PIA pilots have fled to Canada, Uk and other parts of the world.

Dysfunctional CAA will lead to more Air Crashes

According to details, the FIA ​​Crime Circle has completed an investigation into the issuance of fake licenses by pilots and has arrested 6 CAA officers, including a pilot also. FIA has registered 4 cases in Karachi.

The arrested persons include Acting Additional Director Licensing, Senior Joint Director Licensing Branch Faisal Mansoor and Senior Joint Director Licensing Branch Asiful Haq.

Additional Director Licensing Muhammad Mahmood Hussain, Senior Superintendent HR Licensing Abdul Raees and others have also been arrested in the case.

According to sources, on Thursday evening the ex-GM licensing Mr Mahmood was called by FIA crime branch Saddar Karachi where he was interrogated and later arrested and so were some other individuals.

The investigation into the alleged issuance of fake licenses was initiated by the Aviation Division. Out of 141 pilots with alleged licenses, 102 belonged to PIA.

As per reports, during the initial departmental investigation, 28 licenses were suspended and 7 revoked.

Records of the license branch and pilots were taken into custody. Once the investigation is completed and the whole system of PCAA is completely revamped, the PIA ban will be lifted.

Baaghi TV had reported earlier that after the crash of PK 320 flight, the investigative reporter Mubashar Lucman last year revealed the names of PIA pilots and CAA officials holding fake degrees.

According to FIA officials, the pilots obtained fake licenses through a fake exam.

The aviation ministry should immediately get rid of corrupt mafia from CAA.
