Farukh Khokhar Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Majid Satti Murder Case

A local court has delivered its verdict in the high-profile Majid Satti murder case, sentencing the main accused, Farukh Khokhar, to life imprisonment.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Afshan Ijaz Safi announced the detailed judgment on Tuesday. The court found Farukh Khokhar guilty in the murder of Majid Satti.

As soon as the verdict was pronounced, security personnel present in the courtroom immediately arrested Farukh Khokhar. He was handcuffed on the spot in front of the judge and lawyers.

According to court orders, the convict has been shifted to Adiala Jail under strict security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.

The judgment brings a significant closure to a case that had been closely followed in the region.
