France Bars Israeli Government Representatives from Eurosatory Defence Exhibition in Paris
France has barred official representatives of the Israeli government from attending the upcoming Eurosatory 2026 defence exhibition in Paris, in a move that underscores continuing diplomatic tensions over Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
French authorities confirmed that while Israeli defence companies may be allowed to participate under certain conditions, official Israeli government delegations and representatives will not be permitted to attend the internationally renowned defence and security event.
The decision comes amid growing political debate in France and across Europe regarding arms exports and military cooperation with Israel. French officials said the measure reflects the government’s position on the ongoing conflict and humanitarian situation in Gaza.
