French President Macron is egged on once again
France: Once again, French President Macron has become victim to a rather bizarre kind of assault. An egg was thrown at him while he was at a restaurant trade fair in Lyon.
The incident was caught on video and has since been gaining traction on social media.

Details state that the perpetrator was immediately arrested after the incident and detained. The French President stated, “If he has something to say to me, let him come.”
The egg did not break and simply bounced off of him. The incident occurred when he was visiting the stands of the International Catering, Hotel, and Food Show (SIRHA).
Just a few months ago, on June 28, President Emmanuel Macron was slapped by a man during his trip to Tain-L’Hermitage. While meeting citizens who had arrived to greet him, a man slapped him from behind the barrier. The culprit in that incident was also detained.
It is to be noted that in the past, France has supported blasphemous drawings.
