Ghaziabad Administration Seals Unregistered Madrasa in Loni Crackdown

India: In a continued drive against unregistered religious educational institutions, the Ghaziabad administration on Sunday sealed the Madrasa Islamia Kashiful Uloom located in the Ashok Vihar area of Loni.
Officials, accompanied by police personnel, carried out the sealing after finding the madrasa operating without necessary permissions, registration, or regulatory compliance. The institution reportedly lacked required No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and failed to meet basic infrastructural and safety standards.
The action is part of a wider Uttar Pradesh government initiative targeting madrasas functioning illegally across districts. Several other institutions in Loni, Indirapuram, and Khoda have also been sealed in recent days for similar violations.
Local authorities stated that such measures aim to ensure all educational establishments adhere to legal norms and maintain proper oversight. Video footage from the site showed enforcement teams inspecting documents and securing the premises.
