The Board of Governors of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given the approval for the separation of Pakistan Super League (PSL) from the commercial department.
Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani presided over the 58th meeting of the Board of Governors which took place via video-link. The Board of Governors congratulated the PCB on successfully holding 30 matches of the PSL 2020.
The Board of Governors was told that planning is ongoing for holding the remaining 5 matches this year and Peshawar will be added as a fifth venue for future PSL events. The next edition will be held in February-March 2021.
The Board of Governors has given approval for the separation of the PSL from the commercial department.
The Project Executive of the PSL Shoaib Naveed will continue in his rule. During this time improving relations with all stakeholders and successfully arranging the quality event will be his priorities. In this regard a supervising group will be formed in which the PCB Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Commercial Director will be included.
