Sept 6, 2021: Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha in a message on the occasion of Pakistan Defense Day said that September 6 is a very important day in the history of Pakistan.

This day commemorates the defense performance and sacrifices of the forces in the Pak-India war of 1965. Its purpose is to commemorate the strengthening of Pakistan’s defense and military strength so that any attack in the coming days can be dealt with amicably.

He said that on this day our brave and courageous Armed Forces made history by successfully defending the beloved homeland by repulsing the aggression of a powerful enemy many times over.

September 6 is the birth anniversary of the victory of the Muslim Ummah when in the pitch darkness of the night, the enemy, intoxicated with power, fought with the enemy’s nefarious intentions on the Holy Land with the lion-hearted soldiers of the Muslim Nation.

He said that today Pakistan is a nuclear power and more powerful than ever. “This is the day when a handful of our forces, displaying great manliness, courage and bravery, crushed the nefarious intentions of the enemy and became a plywood wall to defend the motherland,” he said.

The Governor of Balochistan said that not only our armed forces but the entire nation united and proved that in the face of unity, consensus and the power of faith, the abundance of weapons or numbers does not matter.

Governor Zahoor Ahmad Agha emphasized that today we must renew our commitment that we will not let the sacrifices of our great martyrs go in vain and that the same passion and determination for the protection, integrity and defense of our beloved homeland.

“We will always maintain what the whole nation demonstrated during the war of September 6, 1965. Even today, our resolve to deal with all kinds of threats is strong.”
