According to reports, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has formed an eight-member bench concerning the opposition’s objections to the Finance Ordinance. The first committee meeting is scheduled to be held on the 2nd of April at 2 pm in the Parliament House.

According to reports, the Ordinance will be decided after views of both parties have been considered. Meanwhile, Dr. Babar Awan Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Parliamentary Affairs has said, that the move is a major breakthrough in terms of legislation. The committee includes Dr. Babar Awan, Hammad Azhar, Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Pervez Ashraf, Naveed Qamar among others.
