I Will Raise My Son to Never Be a Threat to Anyone: Yasra Rizvi
Popular actress Yasra Rizvi has stated that after the increasing incidents of violence and killings against women in society, she will raise her son such that he will not be a threat to anyone.
The actress gave birth to her first son in May this year. In January 2020, she married drama producer Abdul Hadi, 10 years her junior.
She said in a social media post that she would secure the future of society by raising her son properly after the recent incidents of brutal murder and increasing violence against women in different cities, vowing to raise her son such that he will not be a threat to any man, woman, or transgender person, and will always be sympathetic, empathetic and just.
In order to secure the future of society, it has become necessary for us to pay more attention to the training of our sons, to monitor them closely, she wrote.
She went on to further write that she would raise her son to not blame anyone else for his mistakes and that he should respect human life and dignity. She would teach him that touching or staring at anyone without their permission and consent is wrong.
The actress went on to write that she does not know what we should do to get rid of the existing dirty people in society but she knows that we have to play our role from now to make it safe in the future and ensure strict supervision of the sons. We have to nurture them better, she said.
Many showbiz personalities and fans commented on the actress’ post on her commitment to a better upbringing of her son and praised her, agreeing that every mother in the society has to play such a role.
