KARACHI: International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has postponed its important visit to Pakistan.

According to reports, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has postponed its important visit to Pakistan. This visit was in connection with the audit of civil aviation.

According to the details, the audit team of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was to arrive in Pakistan on July 5 to clear the concerns on the safety measures of the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan.

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) audit team postponed its visit to Pakistan due to third wave of Corona, CAA confirms.

CAA Deputy DG Regulatory Nadir Shafi Dar said that we have requested ICAO to conduct an online audit. An email has been sent to them in this regard.

He said that steps are being taken to control the corona virus in Pakistan, vaccination process is also underway, CAA has made significant progress in removing ICAO concerns in various fields.

Nader Shafi said that the ICAO had reportedly expressed 80% satisfaction with the CAA’s actions. The Deputy DG said that the International Aviation Organization has asked for a special audit of the Civil Aviation Authority in November-December this year.
