According to Indian media reports, Randhir Kapoor, father of leading Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19. Deterioration in his condition has led to his admission in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Dr. Santosh Sethi, CEO of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, while confirming the news of the actor’s admission, said that Randhir Kapoor’s condition is continuously improving. However, he has undergone numerous tests. An update can be provided based off of the accuracy of the test reports.

According to the latest information released by the hospital administration, Randhir Kapoor has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he is being treated. Doctors have decided to transfer the actor to the intensive care unit after the test results came out.

Earlier, Randhir Kapoor had assured his fans that he was not having any difficulty in breathing and did not need to undergo ICU transfer.
