Lahore Metro’s T-Cash Card now usable abroad, says Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz’s initiative

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s flagship T-Cash Card for the Lahore Metro and other provincial public transport services can now also be used overseas.

The rechargeable smart card, introduced under the Punjab government’s digital transport drive, functions as a full debit card on the Mastercard network. This allows holders to make payments and withdrawals internationally in addition to seamless use on Metro Bus, Orange Line, Speedo, Electro Bus and other integrated transit services across Punjab.

Officials and supporters highlighted the development as a step toward greater convenience for travellers, noting that the same card already supports everyday banking transactions, shopping and cashless commuting within the province.

The T-Cash Card is available for a nominal issuance fee and can be obtained through the official e-Transit portal, app or designated Metro stations.
